Is e-commerce really secure?

The account numbers and all associated information is encrypted right after the visitor enters it on his/her computer -- and it remains encrypted all the way to your own computer in your office. In other words, it is much more secure than using a credit card in the local supermarket.

Our logo is ugly. Can you fix it?

Logo creation is one of our specialties. The design team can either draw on an existing theme or idea you already have represented in your current logo, or we can create one for you from scratch. Either way we are certain you will be pleased with your new look.

Can I pick my domain name?

Yes. Beware, though, that there is a good chance that someone else already registered the domain name you would like to register. We would suggest that you send us a list of possible domain names you would like to use. We will run a domain name check and advise you on the availability of each.

I need lots of email for my firm, how many can we have?

The number of email boxes assigned to your company is unlimited. One mailbox is included with every package we offer; additional mailboxes cost only $15.99 a year with a $5 setup fee. In addition to that you can request up to 20 aliases. An email alias does not store your mail on the server, but forwards every message to your own mailbox. It is possible to have multiple aliases that would forward email to a single mailbox.
I have a website that keeps prompting me to download software, should I?

As a rule a website will occasionally prompt you to download enhancing software -- a plug-in, an ActiveX component and so on. Those little pieces of software will add a number of additional features to the site you are viewing. Macromedia Flash, Adobe Acrobat reader and QuickTime are among the most popular ones. Do not be afraid to download them -- you need to do it only once, it will not affect your machine. The overall benefits of having those plug-ins installed are enormous.

Can I choose what my website looks like?

Yes. Each of our packages includes a maximum amount of consultation and design hours. Any additional consultation or design is charged an hourly fee. Of course you will want to work with our expert team of designers who know how to design a website for maximum effectiveness.

GeoRapid designers can give you an professional look for your website; however, if you have a design that you have already sketched out, our designers can implement your ideas. This kind of "custom design" requires an extensive amount of consultation between your team and the GeoRapid' designers. Our designers will provide a draft that matches your design as we understand it, after this, we will consult with you if any edits are needed. Another draft is then made. This process is repeated until your desired look is achieved. Any work performed not include the the package you select will be billed at an hourly rate.

What is a design consultation?

A design consultation is a meeting between you and the GeoRapid design team. At the initial consultation you should have examples to give the designer of the overall look you would like your website to portray. These examples could include, other website designs, printed material you would like your site to complement, or printed material from a magazine with a generalized appearance you prefer. Design consultation hours can include any form of communication between you and the designer such as e-mail, telephone, etc.
